My Process: How I Work with You
Here's what you can expect when we work together:

  1. Discovery Call
    We’ll start with a friendly chat about your business, the challenges you’re facing, and your competitors. We’ll discuss your project goals, target audience, and the products and services you offer. I’ll ask a few questions to understand your needs and timeline.

  2. Proposal with Quote
    After our discussion, I’ll send you a detailed proposal within 1-2 business days. This will include the project scope, a quote, and an estimated timeline. Rates are based on project scope and turnaround time. A 50% deposit may be required for larger projects, and the full fee upfront for smaller ones. Once we’ve agreed on the details, the work begins!

  3. Planning & Preparation
    I start by conducting in-depth research, which may include interviews with your subject matter experts (SMEs), reviewing current marketing materials, and studying industry trends. I’ll also review information you provide about your products and services, such as data sheets, brochures, your website, slide decks, existing marketing materials, and customer reviews. This helps me create content that truly resonates with your audience.

  4. Writing the Initial Draft
    With background materials, the signed proposal, and the first payment in hand, I start working on the first draft. All copy is written in Microsoft Word with headers, sub-heads, copy, and calls to action (CTA) clearly labeled. The project duration depends on the materials you provide, your approval times, and the project size.

  5. Client Review & Revisions
    Your feedback is important to get your message just right. Each project includes up to three rounds of revisions to ensure the final draft meets your expectations. By the third draft, your copy will be polished and well-aligned with your goals. Additional changes can be made at an extra cost.

  6. Final Deliverable & Payment
    Clean copy is submitted to you in a Word document, ready for layout. After completing the project, I’ll send an invoice for the remaining amount with payment due in net 15 days.

  7. Complete & Celebrate!
    We celebrate a successful project! You'll have copy that connects with your audience. I’ll also ask for a testimonial to share your experience working with me. Let’s keep the momentum going for the next project!
